This type of transaction describes a generic prescription.
Guidelines
Generalities
This transaction only requires a level 1 of kmehr normalization. In the future, further levels may be defined for use.
Transaction elements
Element | Purpose |

id of the transaction according to the ID-KMEHR conventions. |
cd |
You must use the value ‘prescription’ from CD-TRANSACTION. The type of prescription could be further specified using a value from CD-TRANSACTION-TYPE, or by adding your own local codes. |
date |
This is the date of the prescription. |
time |
This is the time of the prescription. |
author |
This is the person assuming the responsibility of medical content of the prescription. |
redactor |
In generation of PMF files in nursing context, the redactor will typically identify the responsable for the implementation of the prescription to the nursing standards (e.g. a nurse.) |
iscomplete |
If this is false, this means that you transfer only part of the information and that the recipient should expect a more complete version later. |
isvalidated |
If this is false, this means that the information has not been validated medically. |

- lnk(s): to encapsulate your prescription as a multimedia object (RTF or PDF document for example)
