DEFINITION:
Please note the transactions ‘medicationscheme’, ‘medicationschemeelement’ and ‘treatmentsuspension’ shall be considered as a whole.
As part of the VIDIS project, these three transactions all work in concert to realize the different use cases of the shared medication scheme throughout the regional vaults (Vitalink, RSW and RSB-BGN.)
Specifically, it shall be noted the actual KMEHR message is composed of one ‘medicationscheme’ transaction - used in a ‘meta-transaction’ capacity - and the actual content is modelled in accompanying zero or more transactions of the type ‘medicationschemeelement’ and optionally ‘treatmentsuspension’.

Concerning the concrete technical details how to implement the medication scheme (functional principles, operations etc.) please refer to the technical cookbooks available at the different vaults (RSB, RSW and Vitalink.)
