I want to attend an event or visit a facility that requires a Covid Safe Ticket
Step 1: Do you need a COVID Safe Ticket?
Check or ask if the event you wish to attend, or the facility or institution you wish to visit, requires a COVID Safe Ticket (CST).
Step 2: Make sure you have a valid EU Digital COVID Certificate
If you are required to present a CST, ensure that you have a digital certificate of vaccination or recovery or an EU Digital COVID Certificate proving that you are eligible to generate a CST. These current conditions are listed in the table below (click on the table to enlarge).
If you need to be tested, you can request a CTPC (Corona Test Prescription Code). You can then view your test result via these channels. If your test is negative, you can also upload an EU Digital COVID Certificate via these channels.
If you wish to upload an EU digital COVID-19 vaccination or recovery certificate, you can do so via the CovidSafeBe app or via a web application.

Situation 1: I live in Belgium and would like to download an EU Digital COVID vaccination or recovery certificate for myself
You can upload your EU digital COVID vaccination or recovery certificate via this web application. You must first log in with your electronic identity card or Itsme.
Make sure you have the following items:
- either an e-ID reader, your e-ID card and your pincode for your e-ID card
- or your mobile phone with the Itsme app and your Itsme pincode.
Situation 2: I live in Belgium and would like to download an EU Digital COVID vaccination or recovery certificate for one of my children
You can upload the EU digital COVID vaccination or recovery certificate via this web application. You must first log in with your electronic identity card or Itsme.
Select your child's name in the "For my child" drop-down menu.
Make sure you have the following items:
- either an e-ID reader, your e-ID card and your pincode for your e-ID card
- or your mobile phone with the Itsme app and your Itsme pincode.
